Our Team
Sam Noble - MAI, ASA, CRE, CCIM, GAA
As a credentialed member of several professional organizations, Sam maintains up-to-date educational requirements and participates in local chapters where he has held leadership roles, including Past President of the Appraisal Institute Southwest Texas Chapter and the American Society of Appraisers San Antonio Chapter, as well as Past Chairman of the Counselors of Real Estate San Antonio Chapter.
Sam is a strong believer in the youth of our community as demonstrated by his volunteerism. As a member of the Rotary Club of San Antonio, he volunteers on several teams for Snack Pack 4 Kids San Antonio, working to provide weekend food security for elementary children. He has also served on Rotary’s Youth Education Foundation since 1994 and has chaired the committee board for 8 years, dedicated to presenting college scholarships to local students based on need, character, leadership, service, and ability.
An Eagle Scout and Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association, Sam believes wholeheartedly in the principles of the Scout Oath and Law. He has served in many leadership roles on both the District and Troop level here in San Antonio, including Eagle Advisor, Scoutmaster, and Crew Advisor.
Cecil R. (Bob) Baker
Distinguished real estate professional and state-certified real estate appraiser with over four decades of expertise in property valuation. In 1984, Bob began his work in real estate appraisal and has since cultivated extensive knowledge and networks in the field. Since 1989, he has been with Noble & Associates, Inc., where he appraises a wide variety of properties across numerous states, with a primary focus on Texas.
Bob has extensive experience with complex appraisal assignments, including agricultural, residential, commercial, industrial, natural resources, special purpose, recreational, historic, eminent domain, appraisal review, undivided partial interest, allocation of purchase price, insurance valuation, marketability studies, feasibility studies, subdivision analyses, highest and best use studies, economic rent studies, absorption studies, lease analysis, portfolio review and analysis, property management analysis, sales and market packages, ad valorem taxation, condemnation testimony, divorce cases for various clients, bankruptcy, real estate litigation, and IRS-related assignments.
Bob stays current with all continuing education requirements in Texas, ensuring his skills remain at the industry's cutting edge. He regularly attends educational offerings from the Appraisal Institute, American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers, The International Right of Way Association, the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University, and various others throughout the state and nation.
A longtime member of the Stockdale Church of Christ, Bob has served as a finance deacon, benevolence deacon, and classroom teacher. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Wilson Area Children’s Foundation, which provides for underprivileged school-age children who attend Wilson County schools. Bob is also a past show manager and volunteer for the Wilson County Junior Livestock Show in Floresville, TX.
OUR FOUNDER
Charles graduated from San Antonio Academy in 1943, later attending TMI before enlisting as a private in the Army’s 36th Infantry Division, National Guard, in 1946. Awarded a Navy scholarship to Rice University, he graduated in 1951 with honors in Business Administration and Economics, then commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. After top performance in Officer School at Quantico, Charles served in Korea, flying 110 missions as an artillery aerial observer, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross.
He trained as a pilot at Pensacola and survived a mid-air incident, becoming a member of the Caterpillar Club. Returning to San Antonio, he advanced to major in the Marine Corps Reserve, helping convert the local unit to the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, and was twice the National Marine Corps Reserve Individual Gallery Rifle Champion.
His career continued beyond his military service as a civilian Real Estate Appraiser and Investor and a part-time rancher. During his 67-year career, Charles appraised unique properties across the United States. He served as president for several professional organization and earned several designations, including MAI by the Appraisal Institute, SREA by the Society of Real Estate Appraisers, CPM (Certified Property Manager), and CRE (Counselor of Real Estate). Charles also held a commercial pilot license. He married Sara McNeel, sharing 65 joyful years of marriage and a large, loving family.
